About the Company

You will become part of an international SaaS company with B2B customers and partners across Europe. The company develops and manages cloud-based solutions used in business-critical workflows by clients with high demands for availability, scalability, and security.

As a Software Development Engineer, you will join an experienced development team focused on application development and responsible for the further development of the company's scalable cloud service. The work is carried out in close collaboration with sister teams, both in Sweden and internationally, where the teams own the entire lifecycle from development to operations.

Responsibilities

In the role of Software Development Engineer, you work with the entire development chain, from design and implementation to testing and operations. You are involved in technical decision-making and collaborate closely with both frontend and backend developers as well as UI/UX designers. The work takes place in agile teams where you are expected to contribute actively to planning, code reviews, and improvements of both code and processes.

You work with modern Java-based backend solutions and build user interfaces using frameworks such as Angular or React. Quality is a natural part of the delivery, where automated testing, security, and performance are integrated parts of your work.

Examples of tasks:

• Design, develop, and maintain end-to-end web applications
• Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices
• Implement and maintain automated tests
• Work with relational and NoSQL databases
• Actively contribute to agile methodologies such as sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives

Education, Experience, and Personal Qualities

• Extensive experience in development with Java and/or Scala
• Practical experience with Angular or React
• Experience working with REST APIs and microservice architecture
• Knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL)
• Work experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI
• Good proficiency in Swedish and English, both written and spoken
