Örnsköldsvik Gymnasium has two school buildings, Parkskolan and Nolaskolan. In total, over 1,800 students study here, distributed across five university-preparatory programs, ten vocational programs, as well as introductory programs and adapted upper secondary education. Örnsköldsvik Gymnasium is designated as a training school, meaning student teachers (VFU) are a regular part of the school. This position is located at Nolaskolan. The school is approximately a 10–12 minute walk from Örnsköldsvik Norra railway station and about a 15-minute walk from the travel center, making it convenient to commute from both north and south. The start date is Monday, August 17, but can also be arranged by agreement.

Responsibilities

You will teach Spanish and English. Your duties include teaching, planning, documentation, and ongoing contact with students and guardians. The role also involves participating in collaborative work with subject and work teams.

The responsibilities include mentorship for a group of students. This entails significant responsibility for following up on and supporting your mentees, as well as actively participating in student health work.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a certified upper secondary school teacher with subject competency in Spanish and English.
