About Gudmundrå School

Gudmundrå School is a lower secondary school (grades 7–9) with approximately 340 students. The school is centrally located in Kramfors with good transport connections. Commitment and optimism for the future are important values, as are high expectations for our students. We work with a holistic perspective around the student, where students should feel safe, responsible, and independent – something we are convinced provides a good foundation for learning. Responsibilities

We are now seeking lower secondary school teachers for grades 7-9 in mathematics, physics, chemistry, biology, and technology. The role includes mentorship together with a colleague mentor for a class of students. You will also be part of a work team, where we work together to develop teaching, as well as plan and follow up on work based on the curriculum and the municipality's and organization's goals.

We allocate time and resources for collegial learning, which takes place both in subject groups and in work teams. We work to develop good strategies and methods to reach every student with guidance and stimulation within the framework of the teaching group. This means providing students with individual support based on their conditions and needs, as well as creating motivation through value-creating learning and entrepreneurship.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a certified teacher in two or more subjects within mathematics, physics, chemistry, biology, and technology.

Furthermore, we see that you:

• Are flexible, engaged, and have a strong interest in educating and developing young people based on their conditions.
• Have an interest in knowledge and digitalization methods to develop your teaching.
• Are confident in your leadership and are a good role model.
• Find it easy to collaborate, but can also take own initiatives and make own decisions in your work situation.

Personal suitability is highly valued. Experience is an advantage.
