About the job

You will become part of the Technical Services department (STT) at the Swedish Tax Agency, which has around 500 employees. You will be part of a team within server, virtualization, and storage responsible for our IaaS platform.

As a technician, you will work closely with experienced colleagues and gradually build your expertise in virtualization. You will work with the operation, management, and further development of our virtualization platform in a complex IT environment. You will collaborate with other technical areas such as networking, storage, and platform, and together you will contribute to improvements and automation of workflows. Additionally, you will help develop our private cloud platform.

You will be based in Malmö or Sundbyberg.

About you

You should also have:

• some years of current and relevant work experience in virtualization
• work experience in networking (routing and switching)
• relevant experience with container technology

Experience with VCF (VMware Cloud Foundation) and Infrastructure as Code is desirable. Automation experience is also desirable.

Good to know

The position is permanent and may start with a six-month probationary period.

A position with us may involve security clearance. A security investigation with background check according to the Security Protection Act (2018:585) may therefore be conducted before a decision on employment is made. For some of our security-classified tasks, Swedish citizenship is required.
