We are now looking for a Systems Engineer – Hardware-Close System Development for one of our clients.

About the assignment

We are seeking an experienced systems engineer who wants to work with advanced technical systems in complex and business-critical environments. This role is ideal for you if you thrive at the intersection of technology, requirements management, system design, and verification, and have a genuine interest in hardware-based solutions.

You will be a key person in the development of robust system solutions and work through the entire development chain – from early concepts and requirements work to verification, implementation, and delivery.

About the role

As a systems engineer, you will work closely with architects, developers, test engineers, and customers to ensure that system solutions meet technical, functional, and operational requirements. The focus is on translating needs and requirements into viable technical solutions, with particular emphasis on hardware and system integration.

The work includes, among other things:

• System design and development of system architecture for complex technical solutions
• Requirements gathering, analysis, and management throughout the entire system lifecycle
• Development of technical specifications, system descriptions, and other project documentation
• Verification and validation of system requirements
• Coordination between different technical disciplines such as hardware, software, electronics, and networking
• Technical dialogue with internal and external stakeholders
• Support in the development, integration, and further development of technical platforms and systems

Travel may occur in the position.

We are looking for someone who has

• Several years of experience as a systems engineer or a similar technical role
• Good knowledge of Systems Engineering, requirements management, and system lifecycle processes
• Experience working with complex technical systems where hardware plays a central role
• Ability to translate business and customer requirements into technical solutions
• Experience in cross-functional project work
• Good communication skills in Swedish and English

It is extra interesting if you have

• Experience in electronics-related development or electronic systems
• Background from the automotive industry, defense industry, or other regulated technical environments
• Knowledge of IT infrastructure, networking, or system integration
• Experience with standards and methods within Systems Engineering, such as INCOSE or ISO/IEC/IEEE 15288
