Are you a strategic person with a passion for coordinating and optimizing? Then we have an exciting opportunity for you! We are currently looking for a Planner for our Motor & Generator division, who will be the hub behind our team of 8 experienced, skilled, and positive service engineers. ABB is growing and investing in Västra Götaland, and we look forward to welcoming you to our team!

In concrete terms, you will work with planning and coordinating our resources, assignments, and deliveries in the workshop and in the field to ensure high utilization, quality, and customer satisfaction. Your role also includes, to some extent, customer contact, coordination of subcontractors, material and spare parts management, as well as upselling ABB's other services. Furthermore, it involves driving improvement work in the workshop, contributing to an efficient billing flow, introducing and developing new personnel, and ensuring compliance with quality, occupational health and safety, and security requirements.

Your responsibilities

• You will hold an exciting position in our operations where you handle our resources both tactically and operationally.
• The goal is for us to be able to deliver our service services to our customers in the best possible way.
• Your work will cover resource planning for 8 service engineers, from Karlstad in the north to Malmö in the south. You are responsible for ensuring we have the right person in the right place within agreed timeframes.
• Your role gives you significant influence over the business's results and affects how our customers perceive how we fulfill our commitments.
• You will work with continuous business development, follow-up, and the creation of improvement proposals.
• You will have close collaboration with our service engineers, where we place great emphasis on our positive culture.
• You will be responsible for our customer orders, including planning, purchasing, delivery, closure, and follow-up.
• Upselling ABB's other services.
• Ongoing customer contact.

Your work takes place on-site at our service workshop in Mölndal. Some travel is involved to visit customers and support these industries on-site. In this role, you have a fixed base in Mölndal while also traveling to see our equipment in action within Swedish industry, where it makes a difference every day.

Your background

• At least three years of experience in planning service technicians in workshops and/or field service, or similar.
• Experience with servicing electric motors, generators, or other unique large industrial components is an advantage.
• Knowledge and experience with business systems, such as SAP, is an advantage.
• It is an advantage if you have previously worked in a service-driven organization.
• You have experience in business development and find it motivating to analyze data for follow-up and the creation of effective improvement proposals.
• As a person, you are communicative, detail-oriented, and flexible, and you have a talent for organizing and planning.
• You always see new opportunities and solutions and have no problem adapting to the business's changing needs.
• You are proficient in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
