to apply for the job
Do you want to help develop the Swedish Tax Agency's architecture for internal processes and business support? We are looking for an experienced system architect with competence in application development who wants to strengthen our architectural capability and contribute to secure, efficient, and sustainable solutions. You will become part of our train control team (tågledning) with a focus on management, control, and business support. Join us and make society possible!
About the job
Through efficient digital flows, we simplify the daily lives of the Swedish Tax Agency's employees, reduce unnecessary administration, and strengthen our brand as an attractive and modern employer. To succeed, we need a long-term, secure, and cohesive architecture that provides the best possible support for our internal processes and utilizes our tools efficiently. We are currently building our capabilities in architecture and architectural governance.
We develop and maintain around 40 systems and services spanning various technologies, purchased standard systems, cloud services, and self-developed products. Our services primarily serve our operations in management, control, HR, and administrative support. This means we have many suppliers and stakeholders in our operations, resulting in numerous contacts both within and outside the Swedish Tax Agency.
The Swedish Tax Agency works according to SAFe, and you will work closely with the train control team, other architects, and the development teams. In this role, you translate business needs into sustainable and appropriate IT solutions. You prepare, analyze, and present solution proposals for decisions regarding new acquisitions or changes to existing solutions. You act as an advisor and sounding board in architectural matters and ensure that central architectural products, such as the architectural runway, enablers, and non-functional requirements, are communicated, anchored, and implemented in development.
The Swedish Tax Agency's IT department is responsible for the operation, maintenance, and development of the agency's IT systems and currently delivers IT operations to several customers. We strive to be Sweden's best IT operations provider for government agencies, which requires collaboration with architects at other agencies and knowledge and application of nationally developed architectural products.
Here, you will have the opportunity for continuous development and learning at work. We actively work on competence and technology development through, for example, innovation sprints. You have knowledgeable colleagues with whom you exchange experiences, and you can develop both breadth and depth with us. Because we are a large IT organization, we can offer good opportunities for internal mobility. It is important to us that you have a balance between work and leisure, and we offer, among other things, flexible working hours and the possibility to work partially from home. You receive one wellness hour per week and a wellness allowance.
The Swedish Tax Agency's IT department actively works to promote an inclusive workplace characterized by gender equality and diversity, where all employees have equal opportunities to contribute and develop. Read more at Working with IT here (#).
