Direct Sales Professional E-Com – Packaging Service

By producing and delivering sustainable packaging and displays, we are an active player in the transition to a more sustainable and circular economy.

To further drive our operations, we are now looking for a Direct Sales Professional E-Com for the Packaging Service business area, based in Gothenburg/Västra Frölunda.

About the role

As a Direct Sales Professional E-Com at DS Smith, you will help us develop the function, with a primary focus on existing customer accounts and potential customers. You will drive offensive sales initiatives and achieve rapid time-to-market to meet customers' needs for standard solutions where quick action is required.

You will offer the market an efficient value proposition backed by a strong range of standard products and work closely with Customer Service E-Com and Account Managers to ensure fast internal processes.

Your main responsibilities include sales, where you are responsible for the customer portfolio within Direct Sales, covering existing customers as well as qualified prospects/leads. You will help us retain and develop these customers by proactively offering standard solutions and drive growth through new customer acquisition, primarily via outbound activities such as campaigns. You will follow up on prospects who place orders, ask questions, or submit inquiries via the webshop, while supporting and achieving budget, KPI targets, and Direct Sales activities such as outbound calls, MoVC/TG and volume, as well as customer satisfaction and retention, with a strong focus on growth among existing customers and acquisition of new accounts.

The role reports to the Sales Manager E-Com.

About you

As a person, you are relationship-building, solution-oriented, and results-driven. You navigate smoothly in a changing environment and are not stressed by the need to reprioritize or find new entry points. With a positive and results-oriented personality, you want to contribute to us becoming even better at achieving our goals!

We are looking for you who have a post-secondary education or equivalent experience and have worked for at least 2 years in sales or a customer-facing role.

The position requires very good knowledge of both Swedish and English, in speech and writing.
