We are now looking for an Assistant Store Manager for our store Coop Hjo. We see that you, as a candidate, have industry knowledge and business acumen to support and drive a successful food retail store. As Assistant Store Manager, you have a significant role where you get the opportunity to work with sales in the store and occasionally take on the role of Store Manager. The role offers great opportunities but also places high demands on you as a person.

We see that you as a candidate not only have a sense for business and a natural aptitude for leadership but also have a pronounced sense of order and attention to detail, as the role also involves a fair amount of administration. By being a role model for your sales staff, you inspire them to perform their best every day. You are heading towards an exciting future, so we would like you to be innovative and creative in your way of working, have the drive to create sales pressure, and inspire the customer to shopping joy.

The role requires that you are structured with significant financial responsibility and are result-oriented and goal-focused. Together with your employees and the regular Store Manager, you are responsible for ensuring the store is sales-driven, constantly developing, and attractive to always exceed our customers' expectations.

We place great emphasis on your leadership, as leading and developing employees is a large part of your daily routine. To succeed with this, you must be good at communicating, be clear in your leadership, be inspiring, and use your social sensitivity.

We see that you have experience and education from retail so you know what is required to create an efficient and profitable operation. If you also have experience working with the administrative tasks involved in running a store, that is a great merit. An extra plus is if you are familiar with our systems SO, CAO, and CKS.

The position is a full-time temporary position starting as agreed. The temporary contract extends for approximately 1 year. Working hours vary and include both daytime and evening hours as well as weekends. Recruitment is ongoing, so the position may be filled before the application deadline.

• Several years of previous experience from the grocery trade is a requirement
• Previous experience from similar work with leadership responsibility is strongly meritorious
• Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written, is a requirement
• Previous work within Coop is meritorious
