Galleriet Gåvor & Interiör is for you who enjoy interior design, and also burn for sales and customer service. We are an established company that works constantly to develop and become better. Since 2004, we have been located at Nordby Shopping Center.

We now need to expand our team, and are looking for a salesperson for our store at Nordby Shopping Center.

The store's daily operations consist of, in addition to sales and customer meetings, unpacking and displaying goods, cleaning, warehouse work, and continuous maintenance of the store so that it always looks neat and inviting to our customers.

Our most important task is to provide every visitor and customer with the best possible service, and it is a matter of course for us that you are genuinely interested in sales and service. The person we are looking for naturally has a great interest in interior design and an eye for color & form, as well as a desire to learn more and constantly develop in their role.

Your profile

The person we are looking for must be over 18 years old, and have previous experience from service work and cash register experience.

You are accustomed to using a computer with office packages. It is an advantage if you are used to working with both high and varying pace, as well as handling a lot of merchandise. You thrive in an environment where there are short decision-making paths and with a job that varies from season to season.

Regarding personal qualities, we value positivity, flexibility, and accuracy highly. Since the work is varied, we would like you to be just as comfortable working alone as in a group. You are fluent in Swedish or Norwegian in speech and writing, and have a good understanding of English in speech and writing.

There is sometimes a very high pace with both sales and merchandise handling, so the job requires good physical fitness and that you enjoy having "many balls in the air". Lifting and the use of ladders occur in the daily work.

We place great emphasis on personal suitability, and it is a matter of course for us that you are a "team player".

For the right person, there are good development opportunities within the company.

A driver's license and access to a car is a plus.

About the position

The position is a permanent part-time employment (fixed-term contract), approx. 25 hours/week, plus extra when needed.

During peak seasons (summer and October–December), the position will have a higher degree of employment, up to full-time.

The position will begin with a 6-month probationary period.

The working hours are scheduled on weekdays, evenings, and weekends according to the schedule. The position will be filled with a planned start date in August/September.
