RESPONSIBILITIES

Do you want to be an important puzzle piece in the preschool's preventive and promoting work? Do you want to work together with other competent colleagues to make a difference for educators and children within the preschool? Then you should apply for the position with us!

Falkenberg Municipality's preschool operations are divided into five areas, where each area has a specialist function within special education. Currently, we are 4 special educators and 5 pedagogists. Your task is to be a qualified conversation partner and advisor in matters concerning staff and other involved parties. You are part of the area's management group and work on behalf of the principal to provide support and supervision to work teams in areas such as method development, adaptations, and learning environments.

In your role with us, you will work to find working methods and adaptations that benefit the children's development. You have a holistic view of the resource needs and establish contacts with resource persons outside your own operations. You participate in the work with action plans and are responsible for documenting child cases in accordance with current legislation. You also keep up to date with new research and literature in the field.

You are driving the development of flexible and accessible learning environments and conduct assessment, mapping, and follow-up at the organizational, group, and individual levels.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for you who are educated as a special educator and have several years of experience working within the preschool. Experience in supervision and support for educators as well as collaboration with guardians is meritorious.

You have a strong relational approach and see collegial learning as an important foundation for development and quality in the preschool. You are proactive, work independently, and at the same time have a good ability to collaborate and create trusting relationships. With a solution-focused and development-oriented work approach, you actively contribute to developing the preschool's learning environments and working methods based on the needs of the children and the preschool.

You have good digital competence and are accustomed to using digital tools and systems for documentation, follow-up, and feedback. Furthermore, you have a well-developed communicative ability and express yourself clearly and professionally in both speech and writing.
