We are looking for a BIM specialist in digital information management for Trafikverket (Swedish Transport Administration).

This is a consulting assignment. The location is Stockholm.

The position is 40–60% of a full-time role.

The assignment involves close collaboration with the client, which places high demands on flexibility and teamwork skills.

The Assignment

The BIM specialist works broadly within the region, supporting project managers and contractors with issues related to BIM and 3D models.

Responsibilities

• Create management views from 3D models
• Navigate and act as a pilot in the model
• Support the region with questions regarding the handling of 3D models
• Support in the review of 3D models
• Train employees
• Responsible for updates and maintenance of the models
• Follow development projects at Trafikverket regarding future working methods, such as IDS (Information Delivery Specification), machine-readable requirements, and standardized working methods in line with ISO 19650 and ISO 55000
• Develop and implement new working methods
• Support future requirement setting related to BIM

Requirements (OBS, mandatory)

• Ability to communicate fluently in both spoken and written English and Swedish
• Good teamwork skills
• Ability to work independently
• Good problem-solving skills
• A university degree comprising at least 120 higher education credits (hp)
• At least 5 years of experience as a BIM specialist within road, track, or railway projects. The experience must be no older than 8 years
• Experience in developing and implementing BIM requirements
• In-depth competence in IFC and openBIM methodology
• Documented good knowledge of the ISO 19650 standard
