As an IT technician in the Datacenter and Platforms Section, you will be part of a team responsible for the operation, maintenance, and development of a global and complex IT environment with high demands for continuity and security. The team's, and your, responsibilities include the server virtualization platform, storage, backup, Windows Server operations, maintenance, and the development of the Linux server environment.

About the role

Your role also includes working on improvement measures and development within the area, as well as staying updated on technology through environmental scanning. You will work in projects where you participate both as a technical advisor and as an executor. Together with your colleagues in the team, you will ensure good operations and new development of the capabilities that other technical teams need to deliver modern IT support. This includes, among other things, documenting solutions, creating new routines, and implementing and further developing new solutions, for example within automation.

Your background

To be considered for this role, you must meet all requirements and preferably also the merit-based criteria.

Requirements:

• University education or other post-secondary education in a field relevant to the position.
• Professional experience in the operation, maintenance, and installation of Linux-based server infrastructure in virtualized and physical data centers/environments.
• Professional experience with Linux, for example: Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL), Debian, Ubuntu.
• Professional experience in security hardening of Linux environments.
• Professional experience in automation and configuration management, for example: Ansible, Puppet, Terraform, Chef, or equivalent tools.
• Professional experience with monitoring systems, for example Zabbix.
• Good experience with documentation.
• Experience in analysis work and proactive troubleshooting.
• Good proficiency in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.

Other information

This advertisement concerns a permanent position starting with a six-month probationary period.

Start date by agreement.

On-call work outside regular working hours may occur.
