About us

Himmel & Pannkaka is a production kitchen belonging to Performer Own Management. We prepare food for SÄBO (elderly residences) as well as individuals within LLS (Day Activities). The production kitchen is adapted for 700 portions per day. We work with a cold meal system where we cook the food on-site in the kitchen, cool it down, and package it. All food is then sent from our kitchen cold and heated up at the respective units. This creates a freshly cooked and pleasant feeling at the units. We also have a restaurant connected to our production kitchen where we serve lunch Monday to Friday.

The operation of Himmel & Pannkaka consists of seven employees: kitchen manager, team leader, chefs, kitchen assistant, and a driver. We also have an LLS operation working with us in the premises. They handle simpler cooking, serving, and logistics in the operation. With a modern fleet of machinery and smart solutions, combined with a well-thought-out structure and clear flow, we have created a system that is simple and fun to work in. By combining classic culinary craftsmanship with new technology, we follow the food we cook all the way to the guest's plate.

About the position

You are a chef who, together with the kitchen's team leader, is responsible for the food preparation. Together with the kitchen manager, team leader, and other chefs, you plan menus based on the season, climate-smart choices, and future challenges with more plant-based options. Your main tasks include preparing and cooking cold and hot dishes, preparing the daily lunch in the restaurant, and managing the flow in the lunch restaurant, requiring good contact with the serving staff.

Are you the one we are looking for?

We are looking for someone who has:

• Very good knowledge of special diets and allergens.
• Documented training in food hygiene (HACCP).
• Several years of experience as a chef.

It is an advantage if you have previously worked with cold meal systems or food preparation that is cooled down before delivery. It is an advantage if you have a B driver's license.

You are a very independent person who likes a fast pace. As a person, you are also team-oriented and a team player. Furthermore, you are considerate, structured, and work cleanly. We also believe that you need to be creative to fit the role of a chef.
