Funky Chicken Foodtruck was founded in 2014, drawing inspiration from New York's street food scene. Today, we are one of Sweden's most popular food trucks, with loyal customers traveling across the country to visit us. Our core values in work are joy, customer focus, and having fun.

We have received significant media coverage and awards in recent years, attracting both influencers and food critics. We are a cool team of five people who all share a love for food that is funky – where food takes a step beyond just being "delicious".

As we are in an expansion phase, we are now looking for you who want to become one of our food truckers and contribute to the great atmosphere we have built at Augustensdalstorget in Nacka Strand together with our visitors.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and prep food, such as making sauces, salads, and assembling hamburgers.
• Handle cash register operations.
• Weekly planning together with the team.
• Pack up, open, and close the business.
• Cleaning duties.

Working Hours

The food truck's opening hours are Monday to Friday, 10:30 – 14:00. A full working day is approximately 08:30 – 15:30. When the summer sun shines, we also open for service on Sundays. We are looking for both those who can work 5 days a week and those with a flexible schedule who can step in as needed (2–3 days per week). There are good opportunities for a permanent position for the right person who fits into the group and is "FUNKY" ;)

Employment Type

Hourly employment with good opportunities for a permanent position. To apply for this position, we preferably see that you meet the following criteria:

• At least 2 years of experience in the service or restaurant industry.
• Fluent in Swedish.
• Social, service-minded, and outgoing, with a sense of teamwork – we do something fun together, not just work for a wage.
• Stress-resistant and accustomed to working at a high pace in a small space.
