Kitchen Assistant/Cook Wanted for Day Activity Center Sjöbrisen in Örnsberg
Our current cook/homemaker is retiring, and we are now looking for a new colleague who wants to contribute to our guests' well-being through good cooking and care.
About the Position
At Day Activity Center Sjöbrisen in Örnsberg, we have 16 elderly guests per day. You will prepare and serve delicious, nutritious home-style meals, cooked from scratch in our kitchen. The food will be adapted to the individual needs of our guests.
Your Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve nutritious meals from scratch.
- Ensure the menu is adapted to the guests' needs, including knowledge of allergens and special diets (required).
- Maintain high hygiene standards in the kitchen and handle food according to current routines.
- Work independently and take responsibility for creating your own menus.
- Work meticulously with both food preparation and cleaning.
Your Profile
We are looking for someone who is social, goal-oriented, and has a high sense of service. Since our guests have cognitive impairments, we place high demands on your interpersonal skills and your ability to show care and empathy.
Merits
- HACCP training.
- Professional background as a nursing assistant (undersköterska).
About the Facility
Sjöbrisen has guinea pigs and dogs, creating a cozy and lively environment for both staff and guests.
The position is full-time (100%).
