ABOUT THE ROLE

As a junior strategic buyer, you will work with procurement and tendering for surface ships and submarines. You work with all types of procurement, from engines to cables and systems. In close collaboration with project managers and material planners, you work to supply the project with materials and components on time. You are an active part of the projects and work a lot out in the operations/production.

As a buyer, you are part of a larger team in similar roles with different competencies and experiences. Here you become part of a tight-knit team characterized by helping each other. WE ARE LOOKING FOR YOU WHO

• Have a completed university or civil engineering education in procurement, supply chain, economics, or equivalent.
• Have a few years of experience in procurement work.
• Have an interest in technology and the defense industry.
• Meritorious with experience from the Swedish Armed Forces/conscription.
• Fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.

ABOUT THE EMPLOYMENT

The position is a consultancy position where you will be employed by Friday. This position requires you to undergo and be approved according to the current regulations for security clearance. For positions where our customer has requirements for security classification, it may, in some cases, entail requirements for certain citizenship.
