Erikshjälpen is a children's rights organization with a non-profit second-hand business. Together, we share a common vision: a changed world where children's dreams come to life.
We work to combat poverty and vulnerability by promoting children's rights in 16 countries. In Sweden, our children's rights work is primarily conducted through Erikshjälpen Framtidsverkstad, in close collaboration with our second-hand stores. In total, we operate around 50 Erikshjälpen Second Hand stores in Sweden and Norway. One of Erikshjälpen Second Hand's missions is to generate as much surplus as possible for the children's rights organization Erikshjälpen.
Team Leader for Erikshjälpen Second Hand in Helsingborg
Erikshjälpen is now looking for a Team Leader for our store in Helsingborg. This is a permanent position with a start date in autumn 2026. If you want to contribute to realizing children's rights by working operationally and leading daily operations, this role is for you. We welcome your application!
Description
As a Team Leader, you are operational and lead the daily work in the store to ensure that established surplus targets, social goals, and environmental goals are met. No day is alike; as a Team Leader, we see that you are both flexible and enjoy varied work.
Responsibilities
Examples of tasks include:
- As part of the management team, participating in and leading the daily operations of the business together with the store employees.
- Acting as a team leader for employees, volunteers, and individuals undertaking work trials, activities, or other employment via authorities.
- Together with the management team, being responsible for sales and product display.
- Together with the management team, being responsible for the store during opening hours. You will also have store responsibility on certain weekends.
- Reporting to the Operations Manager.
Qualifications
You are:
- a relationship builder accustomed to meeting people in various life situations and contexts.
- self-initiating, responsible, and enjoy working in a goal-oriented and structured manner.
- open, friendly, and have a representative demeanor with a high sense of service.
- good at switching focus between details and the strategic big picture.
You have:
- a post-secondary education or other relevant higher education, or alternatively, work experience considered equivalent.
- relevant work experience in team leadership.
- experience with agile working methods aimed at developing the business and employees.
- experience in retail work, preferably within the retail sector.
- an interest in aid work and second-hand operations.
- a shared value base (https://erikshjalpen.se/var-vardegrund/) based on three fundamental principles; the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child, Erik's spirit, and a Christian view of humanity.
Meritorious Qualifications
If you have:
- Experience and/or knowledge and interest in marketing through social media.
- Experience and/or knowledge about valuing second-hand goods.
- Experience working with people with special needs.
- Familiarity with digital systems and the Office package.
