The Welfare Sector consists of four operations: disability services, home help and home-based health care, individual and family care, and care and nursing homes.

We have five care and nursing homes located in different parts of the municipality. Solrosen and Ryttershov are found in the beautiful central parts of Ulricehamn, while Ekero, Parkgården, and Hökerumsgården are located in the nature-oriented outskirts of the municipality.

Job Responsibilities

Your most important task is to ensure that every individual receives the care and nursing that corresponds to their needs. With us, the care recipient is always at the center, and good treatment is a matter of course in everything we do.

You will have a varied job with a fine balance between personal responsibility and close collaboration. To provide the best possible support, you work in a team together with colleagues and other professions within elder care. Together, we create the conditions for our care recipients to have an active, secure, and meaningful everyday life, with the opportunity to live as independently as possible.

The work includes care and nursing interventions according to the Social Services Act (SoL) as well as delegated health and medical care tasks according to the Health and Medical Services Act (HSL). In your role, you support the care recipient in daily life through, among other things, personal care, meal support, and social interaction. You are also involved in various forums such as care planning meetings (APT), team meetings, and deviation meetings. Working hours are scheduled during days, evenings, and weekends.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are trained as a nursing assistant and have a genuine commitment to people and want to work in an operation where every day makes a difference.

If you have previous experience from work within care and nursing, it is highly meritorious. You thrive working independently, are happy to share your experiences, and see collaboration as a natural part of everyday life. Flexibility comes naturally to you, and you appreciate a job where no day is like the other.

In Ulricehamn Municipality, language skills are a strength. It is valuable if you speak more languages, but you need to have good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written. You are confident in documentation and have good computer skills.
