About the Role

As a System Administrator for Payroll, you are responsible for the administration, operation, and development of our payroll and HR systems. The role is broad and varied, combining operational work with long-term development. You ensure that the systems function stably and securely while driving improvements that simplify work for the business.

One thing that makes this role unique with us is that you work broadly – across several municipalities and companies simultaneously. You help develop solutions used in Köping, Arboga, Kungsör, and Surahammar, giving you a larger context and more variety than in many similar roles. Here, you work in an environment where multiple operations meet, making the work both more developmental and more dynamic.

You will become a natural expert and advisor in system matters, working closely with managers, HR, payroll functions, suppliers, and other stakeholders. The role involves significant personal responsibility, while you are part of a competent team where collaboration and knowledge sharing are a natural part of everyday life.

Your Responsibilities:

• Ensure operation, administration, and development of our payroll systems
• Work with integrations and data quality between systems
• Provide support to managers, HR, and payroll functions regarding system issues
• Handle support cases and incidents
• Adapt systems based on agreements, organization, and business needs
• Act as the contact person for suppliers
• Create and develop documentation
• Participate in and drive development initiatives and projects

Your Background, Experience, and Competence

To qualify for the position, we are looking for you who have:

• Post-secondary education in a relevant field, payroll consultant (or equivalent experience)
• Several years of experience as a System Administrator within payroll/HR systems, specifically Personec and its modules (Personec P, export, negotiation, Neptune)
• Experience with system integrations and troubleshooting
• Experience with support, incident management, and user support
• Good understanding of the payroll process and its dependencies
• Ability to work systematically with administration, change, and documentation
• Good system understanding, both holistic and detailed
• Very good communication skills in speech and writing

It is also meritorious if you have experience from the public sector, knowledge of laws and collective agreements within payroll and HR, experience with administration models, or have led working groups and collaboration forums.
