Capio Lundby Specialist Hospital is located at Wieselgrensplatsen, less than 10 minutes by public transport from central Gothenburg. Through an extensive healthcare agreement with the Region Västra Götaland, we provide specialist care in dialysis/nephrology, surgery, medicine, psychiatry, ophthalmology, ENT, as well as an operating unit within day surgery.

The psychiatric clinic is an outpatient clinic where our most common diagnoses are anxiety, depression, and neuropsychiatry (investigation and treatment). We have a strong patient focus and offer our patients very good continuity and high accessibility.

We work in well-composed teams with different professional categories to ensure our patients receive the best care chain. On the unit, experienced psychiatric nurses, licensed psychotherapists (CBT), psychologists, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, nursing assistants, and medical secretaries work together.

We work in two main processes: general psychiatric and neuropsychiatric processes.

At the psychiatric unit, you have your own clinic with tasks such as follow-ups and adjustment of medication treatment, support conversations, structured new patient investigations (including MINI), screening for in-depth investigations, blood sampling, patient schools, etc. You are also responsible for counseling via phone and digitally.

As a psychiatric nurse, you are an important part of the teamwork around the patients and therefore participate in treatment conferences and collaborate with other healthcare providers.

We are looking for you who are a specialist-trained psychiatric nurse with experience working with patients with psychiatric diagnoses. It is important that you have a desire to develop in your profession and a strong interest in working with patients in psychiatry.

As a person, you are positive, engaged, and interested in driving the care for our psychiatric patients forward. You have a pedagogical approach and a holistic view with the patient's needs in focus.

You should have good cooperation skills, be solution-oriented, and appreciate working in a team. Since you will be part of a tight-knit team around the patients, we place great emphasis on personal qualities.
