About the Role
We are looking for a structured and engaged Accountant who wants to become part of our finance team. The role reports to the Finance Director and is responsible for ensuring accurate accounting, compliance with regulations, and financial reporting within the operations.
As an Accountant, you are responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, supporting monthly and annual closing processes, and ensuring compliance with accounting principles and internal guidelines. You will collaborate closely with operational managers, external auditors, suppliers, customers, and other colleagues within the finance department.
Examples of tasks:
Financial Accounting and Reporting
- Responsible for correct ongoing accounting and bookkeeping.
- Prepare and review balance reconciliations.
- Support monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes.
- Contribute to the preparation of annual reports and audit documentation.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal control procedures.
Accounts Payable and Receivable
- Responsible for and supporting processes within accounts payable and receivable.
- Follow up on outstanding receivables and payables, and investigate discrepancies.
- Ensure correct and efficient handling of invoices and payments.
Internal Control and Compliance
- Maintain strong internal control procedures and documented processes.
- Support internal and external audits.
- Identify risks and suggest improvements within financial processes.
Collaboration and Communication
- Collaborate closely with operational managers and support functions.
- Provide financial support and guidance to colleagues.
- Contribute to improvement and development initiatives within the finance department.
We are looking for someone who has
- Experience in accounting or a similar financial function.
- Good knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Experience with ERP systems and financial software.
- Very good skills in Excel and good analytical ability.
- Fluent Swedish and English in both speech and writing.

This is initially a fixed-term contract to cover parental leave until June 2027. For the right person, however, there are good opportunities for the role to develop into a permanent position later on, depending on the business's needs.
