🌟 Welcome to Solhaga in Kode – where care meets heart! 🌟 We are now looking for dedicated assistant nurses for a one-year fixed-term position at our care and housing facility, Solhaga.

Solhaga is a warm and welcoming care and housing facility located in the scenic Kode area, just about 10 minutes from central Kungälv 🚗🌳. Here, we offer secure care in approximately 70 modern apartments, divided into departments for both dementia and somatic care.

We currently have exciting opportunities for you who are an assistant nurse and want to make a difference – every day.

Job Responsibilities

Working at Solhaga means you are an important part of our residents' lives. We base our work on the national values of elderly care, which means that care and support are shaped by the elderly person's self-determination, security, and meaningfulness. The focus is on good treatment and ensuring that interventions are of high quality.

🌟You will:

  • Be a dedicated care contact.
  • Strengthen the resident's abilities and resources.
  • Assist with personal care, cleaning, and laundry.
  • Support during meals and social activities.
  • Document interventions and follow up on needs.
  • Perform health and medical care tasks delegated by the nurse.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and other professions in the team.

📅Working hours: Day, evening, and every other weekend.

You will become a key person in the network around the residents – someone who motivates, listens, and creates security. The work is varied, meaningful, and gives you the opportunity to grow both professionally and personally.

Qualifications

Are you the one we are looking for?

  • We are looking for you who are a trained assistant nurse with a protected professional title and want to work in a care and housing facility. You have a genuine interest in people and are driven by making a difference 💫.
  • You should be interested in working with development and change, have good collaboration skills, initiative, and be able to work independently.
  • It is important that you are interested in people, have a high level of commitment, see possibilities, have a sense of responsibility, and focus on the individual needs of the users.
  • Good knowledge of the Swedish language in speech and writing, as well as good computer skills, are required.

Meritorious qualifications:

  • It is meritorious if you have additional education in dementia care or previous experience working with dementia care.
  • A B-class driver's license is meritorious but not a requirement; however, you must be able to commute to and from work during evenings and weekends when public transport is less frequent. It is a walking distance from Solhaga to the West Coast Line trains.
