Description

The Dementia Team in Kungälv Municipality is growing and is now looking for more assistant nurses. With us, you will have the opportunity to contribute to a safe and meaningful daily life for people with dementia.

At our workplace, you work independently with home care services based on the individual's needs and decisions on support, with the support of close colleagues. Our focus is on security, self-determination, and respect, and we work systematically with BPSD assessment to ensure high quality in care.

In the Dementia Team, you are an important part of the network around the users, collaborate with different professions, and contribute to development, including through welfare technology and ombudsman roles. We believe in collaboration, innovation, and learning from each other.

Working hours: Day, evening, and every other weekend

Responsibilities

You will:

• Be a dedicated care contact.
• Plan, implement, and document in Treserva.
• Perform health and medical care interventions on delegation from a registered nurse.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who:

• Is educated as an assistant nurse.
• Has a protected professional title or a certificate of employment confirming that you were employed permanently with the title of assistant nurse on July 1, 2023.
• Has a Category B driver's license.
• Has good knowledge of the Swedish language in speech and writing.
• Is proficient with computers.
• Has an interest in working with development.

It is important that you have a positive view of people, great commitment, a sense of responsibility, and that you focus on the individual needs of the users. You have good collaboration skills, initiative, and can work independently.

It is an advantage if you have a specialist assistant nurse education in dementia or experience in dementia care.
