About the workplace: Nipanskolan

Nipanskolan is centrally located on the north side of the Ångermanälven river in Sollefteå town. The school has approximately 450 students from preschool class up to grade 9. We have a total of about 60 employees, including all professional categories. The school has several lead teachers, and the competence of the staff in general is high and valued by the school management. The school is also one of Mittuniversitetet's partner schools for its teacher education.

At Nipanskolan, we continuously work on joint competence development initiatives. This year's focus has been on Classroom Leadership, and one of the purposes with this has been to develop collegial learning, a work that will continue in the coming school year.

Nipanskolan is a relatively large unit that creates several advantages, including:

Your role

DUTIES
Your task will be to create a sustainable school day for the students and groups that have an increased need for support, together with the school's educators. You will work together as a group to create the best possible conditions for our students to succeed both at the group and individual level throughout the school day.

You will divide your time between students who need closer support and being available for all students during breaks, etc. Please note that questions about the position will only be answered to a limited extent, and solely via email during the advertisement period.

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS
Upper secondary education from the Child and Youth Care program or other education/experience that the employer assesses as equivalent or suitable. Experience in similar assignments is meritorious.

The position requires that you have a great ability to collaborate with both students and adults, and that you can easily adapt to changed conditions with short notice.
