Teracom is responsible for some of Sweden's most critical networks, including the terrestrial TV and radio network, VMA (Important Message to the Public), and Rakel, Sweden's public safety network.

We are now looking for an engaged and driven IT Security Specialist for our Security Operations Center (SOC). In this role, you will become a key figure in protecting Teracom's networks, systems, and critical infrastructure.

About the role

• Operation, maintenance, and development of SOC and SIEM platforms.
• Monitoring of networks, servers, and systems with a focus on security.
• Investigation and follow-up of security events and incidents.
• Security audits and continuity management.
• Integration and improvement of security solutions and tools, such as IDS/IPS, alarms, and logs.
• Environmental scanning and development of processes for security monitoring.
• Support and guidance to the SOC's first line.

Experience and qualifications

• Deep understanding of IT and data communications.
• Good knowledge of networks, Windows, and Linux.
• Experience in incident handling and follow-up.
• Experience in operating and managing integrated environments.
• Good communication skills in Swedish and English.

Meritorious experience

• Experience with security products such as SIEM, IDS/IPS, proxy, and EDR.
• Experience with threat hunting.
• Knowledge in log management, intrusion detection, and traffic monitoring.
• Knowledge of query languages such as regex, KQL, DSL, or DQL.
• Scripting in e.g., Python, PowerShell, or bash.
• Understanding of container platforms.
• Experience in designing and developing SOC platforms.
• Knowledge in machine learning.

The position is security classified and requires Swedish citizenship. Register checks are conducted, and on-call duties may occur.
