Are you a licensed nurse looking for new challenges? You are warmly welcome to join the Infectious Diseases Department at Helsingborg Hospital! We are hiring both newly graduated and experienced nurses.

About Our Department

The Infectious Diseases Department operates as a multidisciplinary team that supports one another. Here, you will gain a thorough and broad clinical foundation with natural overlaps into other specialties such as internal medicine, surgery, and orthopedics. We have 14 beds dedicated to patients with complex infectious diseases, covering a wide diagnostic spectrum.

We actively work on patient safety and workplace environment improvements. A key part of this is structured competence development, including mandatory training days every month.

Key Responsibilities

You will be offered a diverse and stimulating role where you develop your expertise in medical nursing. Whether you are newly graduated or have several years of experience, you will find meaningful tasks tailored to your background.

• Work collaboratively in a team with assistant nurses and physicians. During daytime hours, you will always have access to an assigned physician and a pharmacist.
• Manage intravenous medication therapy and utilize medical technology such as Optiflow and patient monitoring equipment.
• Care for patients with resistant bacteria or contagious diseases, requiring isolation protocols. Regardless of diagnosis, we strictly adhere to basic hygiene routines.

New employees will receive a personalized onboarding program tailored to your prior experience, with ongoing support and follow-up from our nursing managers to ensure your success in the role.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Valid nursing license in Sweden.
• Swedish language proficiency at least level C1 according to the Council of Europe scale.
• Genuine interest in healthcare development and patient safety.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team. You are positive, responsible, flexible, and handle high-paced environments with strong prioritization skills.
