Orkla House Care's well-known brands and high-quality products continue to experience strong demand, requiring optimal and efficient production. To ensure increased competitiveness and efficiency, we are now recruiting a Senior Production Engineer with a focus on leading and implementing continuous improvements across the entire value chain related to industrialization, product launches, and manufacturing process changes.

Your main responsibilities

• Lead the factory's involvement in planning, coordinating, and conducting production acceptance tests for product-related projects.

• Oversee the factory's role in product-related projects and participate in product development projects to establish and ensure preparation for in-house manufactured materials.

• Manage trial runs and testing within product-related projects at the factory level.

• Conduct process and method development related to product projects as needed.

• Initiate and create PFMEA and control plans when necessary, e.g., during the introduction of new processes.

• Create, maintain, and improve procedures, processes, and instructions related to product-related activities.

• Project manage assigned initiatives within the department's area of responsibility.

Your profile

We are looking for you with a post-secondary education in production engineering, mechanical engineering, or equivalent. You have subsequently gained work experience from manufacturing processes and industrialization in a production environment, preferably in assembly, high automation, and large series. We believe you are a natural leader experienced in leading and driving projects in a pedagogical and trust-building manner. You have experience in process development and production preparation, with competence in production-related concepts such as PFMEA, LEAN/SIX SIGMA. As a person, you are analytical, structured, and goal-oriented. You have strong self-drive and the ability to collaborate with and motivate others. You are proficient in both Office suites and major ERP systems. Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written, is required.

It is an advantage if you have experience with CAPEX, machine investments, PLC, Vision systems, and CAD.
