Job Responsibilities

Together with the team at Kvarnliden, we provide quality care, security, and joy to our residents. Kvarnliden is a specialized dementia care facility located in Munka-Ljungby.

As an Assistant Nurse with us, no two days are alike! Using an individual-centered approach, we tailor our support to each resident’s daily condition and build on their strengths. The role involves providing qualified nursing and care interventions based on residents’ needs. A key part of the job is contributing to a meaningful life through social interactions, activities, and outdoor visits.

We actively work with individual implementation plans as the foundation for planning, and every team member takes great responsibility for operations and development. As an Assistant Nurse, you will work closely with residents and play a key role in the team alongside colleagues, unit manager, registered nurse, occupational therapist, and physiotherapist.

We collaborate with other specialized care facilities within Ängelholm Municipality, and as needed, you may also work shifts at these locations.

Qualifications

We are looking for a certified Assistant Nurse, preferably with specialist training in geriatrics, palliative care, or cognitive impairment. Previous professional experience involving responsibility for contact person duties, social documentation, and delegated healthcare tasks is highly valued.

You are comfortable using digital technology, as we increasingly rely on digital tools to streamline and improve operations. Communication is a key part of the role, and you must be fluent in Swedish both verbally and in writing. Additional language skills are considered a plus.

You are a strong team player who collaborates well, takes responsibility, and maintains a holistic perspective. We continuously work on improving our operations, and experience in development or quality improvement projects is an asset. Prior to employment, we will request a certificate of good conduct from the Swedish Police Authority. A valid professional license (yrkesbevis) is also required.
