About the Role

As a Systems Engineer, you will be part of a qualified team that produces high-quality services in areas such as storage, backup, virtualization, servers, and automation. You will work closely with the entire IT operations unit, switching between daily operational incidents involving both software and hardware, and independent work focused on continuous improvement. Together with your closest colleagues, you will ensure that the Swedish Customs Administration has a stable and secure infrastructure.

You will work within one or more of the areas: servers, virtualization, storage, and backup.

Are You the One We Are Looking For?

You have at least three years of experience with Linux, acquired in the workplace during the last five years.

You have a post-secondary education in IT or relevant work experience that we consider equivalent. You have experience working in large-scale IT operational environments. Being able to express yourself well in both speech and writing in Swedish comes naturally to you. The position requires Swedish citizenship.

It is also an advantage if you have experience in any of the following:

  • Server hardware
  • Storage hardware
  • Backup
  • Virtualization
  • EMC Networker
  • RedHat Ceph
  • SAN
  • Work in IT operational environments
  • Programming
  • Training and certifications within the infrastructure area
  • Agile work processes and tools or DevOps

The position includes on-call duty.
