We are looking to strengthen our Personnel Security Group with two new Security Protection Specialists who wish to develop within the field of personnel security.
What does the role entail? You will become part of a team within HR tasked with ensuring that Swedavia complies with the Security Protection Act. The team serves as the coordinating force for personnel security work across all of Swedavia. This role requires high integrity and the ability to understand complex issues and make well-considered decisions.
Your primary responsibilities will be the execution of security clearance checks, which includes among other things:
Conducting background checks, basic investigations, security clearance interviews, and other parts of the security clearance process.
Supporting the rest of the team in various investigations and other personnel security-related matters.
Administering, managing, and developing procedures and methods in compliance with current guidelines.
Together, we work to ensure that our ten airports are safe and secure for everyone – passengers, employees, and customers. You are expected to be on-site at our office at Stockholm Arlanda Airport at least three days a week. Travel to other airports is part of the job and may occur periodically each week, so we believe it is a great advantage if you live near the airport.
Who are you? We are looking for someone who has:
Relevant higher education in areas such as security and risk management, criminology, behavioral science, or psychology, and/or a degree from the Swedish National Defense College or the Swedish Police Academy. Alternatively, equivalent work experience in a relevant field.
A personality that is independent, goal-oriented, structured, and empathetic.
Experience working with people, and preferably experience with interview situations.
Previous experience in personnel security work is a merit.
How we treat each other, colleagues, candidates, and customers is important at Swedavia. Since the role involves many contact points, it is natural that you need to be a skilled communicator and relationship builder. To thrive, you must enjoy working together in a team, supporting colleagues, and taking independent responsibility for your tasks.
What do we offer you? We offer a unique workplace where safety always comes first, and where you get the opportunity to learn more about both the airport and personnel security.
If you have questions about the position, you are welcome to contact [email protected].
The last day for applications is August 4th. Selection is ongoing, and the advertisement may close earlier, so do not hesitate to apply today!

For an objective and fair recruitment process, we use psychometric tests as part of the selection process.
As airports are security-sensitive operations, all candidates who proceed in the recruitment process undergo a background check. Before employment, a security clearance check is also conducted in accordance with the Swedish Transport Agency's regulations on aviation security as well as the Security Protection Act. Swedavia is also a drug-free workplace with zero tolerance for drugs. Drug tests are conducted before employment and randomly during employment.
