We are now looking for an Accountant for our client in a full-time position! Here you will have the opportunity to work in an stimulating environment where you become an important part of the Finance and HR department and contribute with financial support to the operations.

As an Accountant, you will become part of a Finance and HR department consisting of 21 employees today. In the role, you work closely with the operations on financial processes and have a varied area of responsibility where planning, follow-up, and financial management are in focus. You will be an important support in financial matters and collaborate continuously with both the operations and the organization's central support functions.

In the role, you will among other things:

• Work with financial planning, budgeting, forecasts, and follow-up.
• Be responsible for the finances in research projects, including budgeting, calculations, interim reporting, and final accounting.
• Ensure that financial statements and financial processes function well within your area of responsibility.
• Be a qualified financial support to the operations and provide advice on financial matters.
• Collaborate with finance, HR, and administrative functions in financial processes and development issues.
• Contribute to developing and streamlining working methods and processes within the finance area.

We are looking for someone who has:

• Post-secondary education in economics/finance.
• A few years of experience in qualified financial work.
• Experience with budgeting, financial follow-up, and forecasts.
• Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office.

It is meritorious if you have:

• Experience of financial work within the public sector.
• Experience of Primula, Proceedo, and ERP (formerly UBW).

As a person, you are analytical, structured, and solution-oriented. You thrive in a role close to the operations where you take responsibility and work both independently and together with others. You are good at prioritizing, see the big picture in financial issues, and communicate in a clear and pedagogical way. Furthermore, you have a non-hierarchical approach and enjoy collaborating with different parts of the organization.
