Close leadership, change, sustainable workplace
As a Unit Manager, you are the leader closest to the employees and the operations. You are responsible for leading and driving daily work based on the department's mission and goals, guided by the state's core values. Through your leadership, you communicate clear expectations, monitor goals, and provide your employees with the right conditions to take responsibility. You have personnel responsibility as well as result and follow-up responsibility for the teams in your unit.
Your unit consists of approximately 20 employees who investigate the right to disability allowance (assistansersättning) and are located in Stockholm, Eskilstuna, Nyköping, and Uppsala. Through close leadership, you create the predictability, security, and sustainability necessary for employees to take responsibility and meet the need for change. You create understanding of contexts, direction, and the target images set by the department, and develop the plans your operations need. As a Unit Manager, you support the Area Manager and are part of the area's management group, consisting of 8 Unit Managers, where you contribute your competence and engagement. You adapt and exercise your leadership in a way that creates conditions for employees to use their judgment and competence.
The position involves handling confidential information, which places high demands on proper handling. Therefore, it is important that you, as a prospective employee, have a high level of security awareness.

One full-time position, with start date as agreed. Probationary employment may apply. Some positions with us involve participation in security-sensitive operations. To be employed in such a position, a security check approved according to the Security Protection Act (2018:585) is required.
