About Samhall
Samhall exists to create a more inclusive labour market where everyone is seen as an asset. Our mission is to create meaningful jobs for people with disabilities. Every year, approximately 2,000 individuals are referred to us by the Swedish Public Employment Service. We provide them with a stable platform to stand on, offering the opportunity to train their skills and develop their competence. Our most important goal is that 1,500 people leave us each year for employment outside of Samhall.
Regardless of where you work within our organization, our mission and goals are ever-present. The conviction that all people have competence is our compass and driving force. We believe that you, reading this, share this strong conviction.
We are 24,000 employees, including approximately 1,500 managers and specialists, with operations throughout the country. Together, we work for a more inclusive labour market that benefits individuals, organizations, and society at large.
Welcome to Samhall!
About the Role
The role of Group Manager Rehab is a first-line management position where you have personnel responsibility for employees handling complex rehabilitation and prehabilitation cases. Your task is to create the conditions for our employees to develop their work ability and receive the right support to work sustainably over time.
An important part of the role is to work preventively through prehabilitation, focusing on early identification of needs, strengthening work ability, and reducing the risk of sick leave. You work closely with the operations and actively contribute to developing Samhall's work within sick leave and rehabilitation processes.
The path for our employees can sometimes be long and complex, but the goal is for them to develop vocational skills and work ability that prepare them for employment outside of Samhall.
In this role, you create and maintain networks and good relationships both internally and externally. You collaborate daily with area managers, HR, and other support functions, and maintain ongoing contact with external actors such as the Swedish Social Insurance Agency and the Swedish Public Employment Service. You will also become part of an experienced network of colleagues and specialists where you collaborate on workplace adjustments, assistive devices, and rehabilitation efforts.
What We Offer You
As a Group Manager Rehab, you begin your learning journey in our own Samhall School and have the opportunity to participate in one of Sweden's most comprehensive leadership programs. Here, you develop as a leader regardless of previous experience, while simultaneously building specialist knowledge on leading and developing people with disabilities.
You will have the opportunity to build a network with colleagues across the country, exchange experiences, and contribute to an important societal mission where you make a real difference for people every day.
What You Bring
For you, leadership is an active choice and something you have experience with from before. You build trusting relationships and create a good collaboration climate through clear, secure, and present leadership.
You communicate clearly and have the ability to adapt your communication style based on the needs and conditions of different individuals. You are motivated by developing people and creating conditions for sustainable progress.
We also believe you are confident in handling complex individual cases and are accustomed to working systematically with documentation, follow-up, and collaboration with various actors. Since the role involves many contact surfaces, we see that you have good collaboration skills and a solution-oriented approach to work.
Given the role's focus on rehabilitation and preferably also prehabilitation, we will place great emphasis on previous experience in the field. We are particularly interested in hearing about complex rehabilitation cases you have worked with, as well as how you have worked preventively to strengthen work ability and reduce sickness absence.
Having a background as an occupational therapist or similar experience is meritorious.
To succeed and thrive in the role, we believe you have:
- Good knowledge of the Swedish Social Insurance Agency's regulations
- Leadership experience with personnel responsibility
- Experience in operational work with personnel development
- Documented experience in rehabilitation, workplace adjustments, and preventive work
- Experience collaborating with the Swedish Social Insurance Agency and the Swedish Public Employment Service
- Good administrative skills and experience with documentation and follow-up
- Valid driver's license (Category B)
