Our educational activities are located in our three urban areas: Ramnäs, Virsbo, and Surahammar. This includes preschool, preschool class, comprehensive school, adapted comprehensive school, after-school centers, and youth clubs.

We have development-oriented and pleasant preschools distributed across our three urban areas of Virsbo, Ramnäs, and Surahammar for children aged 1–5. Here you have the chance to help drive the development of the preschool education forward. All staff have access to iPads and Mac computers as tools for documentation, among other things. We implement ICDP (International Child Development Programme) for all staff, which is a health-promoting program designed to strengthen psychosocial care competence. Preschool educators receive theoretical and practical training in the program. Responsibilities

We are looking for a temporary preschool teacher for our preschool, Galaxen.

The role involves creating conditions for both the individual child's learning and development, as well as for the group of children. The children's integrity should play a significant role in your work with the children.

You will plan, document, follow up, and reflect continuously to develop the educational activities together with other colleagues on the unit. In your contact with guardians, you maintain an open and trusting approach to create good and sustainable relationships.

Qualifications

• You have a preschool teacher degree and license, or another equivalent pedagogical degree aimed at younger children (e.g., preschool class or lower primary school).
• Previous experience working with children aged 1–5 is considered a merit.
• You have the ability to see the child's needs and are familiar with the curriculum, able to implement it in practice.
• You enjoy working in teams and have good collaboration skills, while also being able to work independently and take responsibility for the unit's educational activities in consultation with other colleagues.
• We want you to be engaged and have a desire to drive the work forward. Personal suitability is highly valued.

Employment Terms

Type of Employment: Fixed-term employment.
Duration: 6 months or longer.
Start Date: As agreed (latest 2026-08-31).
End Date: 2027-03-12.

Before you can be employed, you must present a clean extract from the Swedish Police Authority's suspicion register and the criminal record register, not older than 6 months.

During the interview, you must prove your citizenship. This can be done with a passport or alternatively a certificate of personal status together with an ID document. If you are not a citizen of Sweden, the EU, EEA, or Switzerland, you must show that you have a valid work permit or are exempt from the requirement to have a work permit. Employment can only take place after verification of the work permit, as required by the Aliens Ordinance.
