About the Workplace

Söndrebalj School is located just outside Ängelholm, directly adjacent to the highway. It is a comprehensive school (grades F-9) with approximately 500 students. There are two parallel classes in most grades, with class sizes varying between approximately 18-26 students. Approximately 60 staff members work at the school unit.

The school's development work takes place within areas such as increased accessibility, group dynamics, and motivation. Important and central parts of this development include training in collaboration skills and student-active learning.

We strive to offer students an accessible learning environment, student-active learning methods, and differentiation in teaching to thereby facilitate students' concentration, motivation, and endurance. When students feel that they are learning, they feel good, and when they feel good, they learn more.

Responsibilities

The role involves working closely with students, guardians, and colleagues in grades 7-9. The work takes place both in teaching and in the school's social contexts. You will be led by a special educator/special teacher in your assignment.

Qualifications

You must be trained as a teacher assistant or student assistant. We would appreciate it if you had previous experience working with young people in a school environment.

Our way of working is characterized by interaction and collaboration, which means that these skills are of great importance to us. You will have the opportunity during an interview to describe how you work with the above aspects.

Conditions

• The position is 75-80%.
• Employment type: Fixed-term employment.
• Duration: Start date 2026-08-11 or according to agreement. NOTE! Interviews will take place on Friday, August 7, 2026. End date: 2027-06-18.
