Your responsibilities

As a Development Manager within IT Service, you will be the engine behind our continuous improvement work. You belong to the User Support and Product Supply area, which means you operate at the heart of our operational IT delivery – from the Service Desk's daily support all the way to logistics, purchasing, and lifecycle management.

You report directly to the Area Manager and act as their extended arm in translating strategic goals into smooth, efficient working methods in everyday operations.

Your main task is to analyze, develop, and ensure the quality of our processes so that we deliver maximum value to our end-users with minimal friction.

This includes:

• Analyze and identify: By reviewing data, case flows, and key performance indicators, you identify bottlenecks and development needs in our processes.
• Design and simplify: You map out and refine our working methods based on ITIL, focusing on creating practical, pragmatic flows that work in the reality of our employees.
• Lead the change: You facilitate workshops, document new routines, and drive improvement initiatives to completion through close and pedagogical collaboration with our team leaders and specialists.
• Understand business needs: You maintain an ongoing dialogue with our business units to understand how IT support, service, and product supply function in their daily lives. You translate needs, feedback, and user perspectives into concrete improvements that make it easier for employees to receive the right support, equipment, and conditions to perform their work.

Your qualifications

To succeed in this role, you are a person driven by change and who sees the value in developing and challenging existing working methods. You combine a strategic perspective with strong operational ability, independently planning, structuring, and breaking down tasks into clear steps to create progress. You take initiative and are confident in making decisions, even when conditions change or are not fully defined. At the same time, you are an enabler in the organization – through clear and direct communication, you create dialogue, build trust, and contribute to a culture where collaboration and feedback drive work forward. Personal suitability is highly valued.

Requirements:

• At least 2 years of experience in business development, process development, or project management within an IT organization.
• Relevant post-secondary education or equivalent knowledge acquired through practical professional experience.
• Very good ability to communicate in Swedish, both verbally and in writing.

Merits:

• Experience from the public sector, preferably municipal operations.
• ITIL certification.

Other information
