The Opportunity

We are now looking for a Material Operator for Surge Arresters. At Surge Arresters in Ludvika, we manufacture and sell surge arresters. New products are developed here, and our markets are located both in Sweden and in other parts of the world. An arrester protects against overvoltages and is an essential part of a reliable and energy-efficient power system.

Surge Arresters has a high degree of automation with numerous robots, automation processes, electrical testing, process furnaces, fixtures, etc., and we produce around the clock in several shifts.

You will become part of a wonderful team that supports each other and shares experiences to achieve success!

The role is based in Ludvika and is a day shift position.

How you will make an impact

• Receiving and registering incoming goods.
• Checking deliveries against delivery notes and orders.
• Handling discrepancies in case of incorrect or damaged deliveries.
• Internal material handling and transport.
• Collaboration with warehousing, production, and purchasing.
• You share Hitachi Energy’s core values regarding safety and integrity, meaning you take responsibility for your own actions while also feeling responsible for your colleagues and the business.

Your background

• Previous experience working in industry or logistics is advantageous.
• As a person, we see that you are meticulous, structured, and able to take significant independent responsibility.
• You thrive working both independently and in a team, and you are keen on achieving set goals with a focus on safety and quality.
• You hold a forklift license and have experience operating forklifts. An overhead crane license is advantageous.
• You have good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written.

You are a cooperative person who enjoys working with others. You are meticulous, take initiative, and take responsibility for your own work. A strong focus on quality permeates your working style, and you have the ability to plan and structure your tasks to drive work forward.
