Join us and give children the prerequisites to shape their own future
The future is full of opportunities. At Innovitaskolan, we educate for every future. Our work means creating a good educational environment where we can give our children and students knowledge and competencies for a constantly changing future.
Your assignment
Together with our curious and innovative teachers, educators, and employees, we at Innovitaskolan want to make a difference for our children and students, for every future. We combine traditional teaching, what we and research know works, with modern tools and methods that change learning. This gives them the tools to shape their own future.
We are now looking for a special needs teacher and offer a 100% position. Do you want a dynamic job where you make a real difference? We are looking for an engaged special needs teacher who thrives in a lively school environment and is passionate about student development. With us, you get a role that is far from just an office job – you are where the action is, right among the students, every day.
In this role, you have one foot in the analytical work and the other right in the school's daily life. You will meet our students in various contexts daily to support, observe, and guide. A large and important part of your work involves close and non-hierarchical collaboration with both teachers and the rest of the student health team.
Your profile
We are looking for someone who is structured and has a good ability to organize your work, while being challenged and motivated by juggling many balls in the air.
As a person, you are open and social. You easily create trust and build relationships with both students and colleagues. You are a true team player who enjoys collaborating, but you also have the drive to independently keep your processes together. Above all, you have a big heart for school and are passionate about seeing every student grow and reach their full potential.
To fit the role, you need education as a special needs teacher or other relevant pedagogical university education combined with experience.
We offer
At Innovitaskolan Karlskrona, we offer a fantastic collegium. You become part of a tight-knit team with many nice, supportive, and engaged colleagues who value team spirit and joy in work. We work hard and purposefully together so that all our students succeed, feel good, and reach their full potential. With around 420 students, we have a school of a size that makes it easy to get to know both students and staff, creating a safe and personal work environment.
As part of Innovitaskolan and AcadeMedia, we offer our employees continuous competence development through Academedia Academy as well as internal and external professional development. It is important to us that you are doing well, and therefore you naturally receive collective agreement benefits and insurances, as well as a health and wellness allowance, pension counseling, and the opportunity for favorable purchases through net and gross salary exchange.
Other
Depending on your preferences, the position can be a permanent employment with an initial probationary period of 6 months (provided you meet the School Act's requirements for qualification), or alternatively a fixed-term employment for the period of the school year 2026/2027. Start date by agreement.
You are warmly welcome to apply via our recruitment system. Appointment may take place before the last application date. For questions regarding the position, please contact acting principal Nina Nilsson at email address [email protected] (mailto:[email protected])
