About Spjutsbygds Preschool

Spjutsbygds Preschool works in projects inspired by the Reggio Emilia pedagogical philosophy, with the child in focus and exploration based on the children's participation, interest, and curiosity. We have a large yard divided into several smaller areas, with the forest just outside the gate. We will participate in a ULF project (development, learning, and research) together with Linnaeus University during the autumn of 2026 regarding play-responsive teaching.

As a preschool teacher with us, you will have a central and important role in shaping a meaningful and joyful education. You plan, implement, and develop teaching based on the curriculum, but also with the children's curiosity, ideas, and joy of discovery in focus. Here you have the opportunity to truly influence and develop both the operations and the learning of each individual child.

We work thematically and project-oriented, where the children's interests drive the work forward. You create inspiring, accessible, and inclusive learning environments that invite play, exploration, and development. Qualifications

We are looking for you who:

• are a certified preschool teacher
• have experience working in preschools
• have good knowledge of the preschool curriculum
• have clear pedagogical leadership

Employment type: Permanent position.
Duration: Permanent, start date: 2026-08-10.
Working hours: Daytime.
