Your task will be to lead and further develop Strängnäs Fastighets AB and Strängnäs Bostads AB based on the ownership directives and the board's direction. With sound business acumen, clear management, and a strong focus on implementation, you ensure that the operations develop sustainably and long-term while safeguarding the municipal public service mission.

Responsibilities

As CEO, you have overall responsibility for operations, economy, results, and organization. You drive the strategic development of the companies, lead change and development work, and ensure professional management of investments, projects, and property management.

You work closely with the board, the municipality, other companies in the group, and other key stakeholders. You are a clear link between owners, the organization, and the outside world. An important part of the role is to build trust, create good cooperation, and contribute to the municipality's long-term development.

Your Profile

Qualifications and Merits

We are looking for you who have:

• Relevant academic education or equivalent experience.
• Documented experience of leading a large operation with budget, result, and personnel responsibility.
• Experience of reporting to the board.
• Good understanding of corporate governance, municipal management, and economics.

We would like you to have:

• Experience of leading change and development work.
• Experience of developing organizations and management groups.
• Experience of economic management and large investments.
• Experience of socially important operations with a total defense perspective.

Experience from the property industry is meritorious but not a requirement. We also welcome candidates from other operations with similar complexity. Knowledge of property management, project development, and property economics is meritorious, as is experience from public operations or politically managed organizations. We place great importance on personal suitability.

Strängnäs Fastighets AB and Strängnäs Bostads AB are two municipal companies with a common mission – to create value for Strängnäs Municipality and its inhabitants. We are approximately 100 employees working with everything from maintenance and management to local care, administration, and property maintenance. Together, we manage and develop approximately 288,000 square meters of rental housing and municipal operational premises where people live, work, learn, and meet every day.

The companies are part of the Strängnäs Municipality Group, where Strängnäs Kommunföretag AB is the parent company. Together with the other companies in the group, we contribute to developing the municipality and creating value for inhabitants, operations, and business life.

Strängnäs Municipality has just over 39,000 inhabitants and is strategically located in the beautiful Mälardalen with excellent communication links. The position of CEO may be security-classified and require a security clearance according to the Security Protection Act. A approved security clearance is then a prerequisite for obtaining the position. The position may be subject to war-time placement.
