Unit Manager for Spångagården in Eskilstuna

RESPONSIBILITIES

We offer a developing job where you collaborate with your colleagues to create a foundation for the residence. You will have personnel responsibility for 25-35 employees. Your goal as a manager is to create security, trust, and quality for both employees and residents. In the role of Unit Manager, you are responsible for your staff, their work environment, economy, follow-up, development, and communication for the operations.

You collaborate with colleagues and external parties with openness and curiosity to create good structure and further develop the positive aspects of the operations. Key focus areas for the future will be change management and digitalization, where you challenge and develop working methods together with your staff and fellow managers to drive person-centered care and support.

For new employees, a well-structured introduction program linked to the role and area of operations is included. Everything to create the best possible conditions moving forward.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for you who want to contribute and develop as a manager. You have a relevant academic education (180 ECTS/120 credits) or alternatively other education or experience that the employer assesses as equivalent. For example, you have worked in a leading position in another operation with good results. You have experience of change management from previous work and are accustomed to leading in that context. You have several years of experience in leading a group and are familiar with using IT in daily work.

Experience of working in a politically governed organization and healthcare experience is desirable. If you have other education in leadership or experience of working as a manager with personnel, work environment, and budget, we view this as a merit.

You are a driven leader who shows trust, security, and structure. You are courageous and have a strategic focus. Development work appeals to you. With your positive attitude and competence, you tackle challenges in a professional manner. You thrive in relationship building, and leading, collaborating, and cooperating come easily to you.
