About the Role

Securitas in Kristianstad is now looking for order and security guards on an as-needed basis. To fit the role of an order guard, you have a genuine desire to build good relationships and respect everyone, regardless of background. Your main task is to make people feel safe in their daily lives.

You do this through presence in public places and hopefully provide a calming effect, but if the situation requires it, you are expected to act. As an order guard, you are employed by Securitas but work under the regulations of the Swedish Police Authority.

In the role, you will among other things:

• Receive and guide people on-site with a calm and helpful attitude.
• Perform patrols and ensure everything is in order at the customer's premises.
• Be attentive to deviations and contribute to a safe and functioning environment.
• Collaborate closely with the customer's staff and be helpful in various types of situations.

We are looking for you who thrive in a social role where you get to combine service with responsibility. The days can be eventful and filled with meetings with people, while night shifts are often characterized by a calmer pace and focus on patrols and control. The work involves a combination of walking and standing for most of the workday, which can be experienced as a challenge if you are not used to this.

The position suits you who want a part-time job and enjoy working with people, as well as wanting to make a socially important contribution. We believe you are a stable and stress-resistant person who can handle pressure and cope well with setbacks. You are humble, team-oriented, and service-focused in your interaction with the public, but also understand the responsibility in your role and can remain objective when required. Great importance will be attached to your personal suitability for the position.

• You have an order guard education and a valid order guard permit.
• You have approved grades in Swedish from the first year of high school.
• Category B driver's license.

For employment within Securitas Sverige AB, it is required that you have approved grades from the first year of high school in Swedish and English, and that you are approved by the County Administrative Board for employment in an authorized security company according to the Act (1974:191) on Security Companies (the application is made by Securitas). Depending on the position, a security check according to the Security Protection Act (2018:585) may also become relevant. To investigate and assess whether you meet the requirements to be approved according to the respective legislation, a background check is conducted. The assessment concerns law-abidingness, suitability, reliability, loyalty, and any vulnerabilities. Information collected may come from yourself, open sources, or authorities. We apply a holistic assessment when testing suitability for each position.

Salary and terms of employment are based on a collective agreement between the employer organization Säkerhetsföretagen and the Swedish Transport Workers' Union.
