At Scanfil Malmö, we are now looking for a Quality Engineer who wants to help develop our quality work and contribute to ensuring high quality throughout the entire value chain. You will become an important part of our organization and work closely with production, engineering, project teams, and customers to ensure that our processes meet high demands for quality, safety, and compliance.
About the role
As a Quality Engineer with us, you are an important part of our quality team in Malmö. In this role, you will have the opportunity to combine analytical thinking with practical problem-solving and work closely with internal functions. You will play a central role in ensuring that our processes meet requirements from customers, authorities, and relevant standards while also driving our continuous improvement work. In this role, you support the organization with quality-related issues and act as a quality expert in customer dialogues and audits, among other things. You have strong support within the team, but you also need to have the ability to make independent decisions and keep a broad perspective to see the big picture.
Your responsibilities include:
- Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and quality standards.
- Driving the development of processes, working methods, and quality-related methods.
- Participating as a quality expert in cross-functional teams.
- Leading and supporting investigations, root cause analyses, and deviation management.
- Ensuring that corrective actions from complaints and audits are implemented and followed up.
- Reviewing technical documentation as well as analyzing and reporting quality data.
- Creating training materials and training colleagues within the quality area.
- Actively contributing to and driving improvement work in the business.
- Conducting internal audits and providing support during external audits.
- Working with internal deviations.
Who are you?
We are looking for someone who is structured, solution-oriented, and collaborative – and who is passionate about quality. You thrive in a role where you combine operational work with the development and improvement of processes. You have a strong quality focus, an analytical approach to work, and the ability to engage and influence people within the organization.
We believe you will identify with the following:
- You have a relevant university or college degree, preferably with a technical or quality focus.
- Knowledge of quality tools for problem-solving, deviation management, and root cause analysis.
- You are accustomed to using tools such as FMEA, 8D, and root cause analysis.
- You have good knowledge of relevant quality standards (ISO 9001 and ISO 13485).
- You communicate fluently in Swedish and English, both verbally and in writing.
Meritorious: Experience in other EMS operations and component knowledge, experience working in the ERP system IFS, Lean/Six Sigma, and experience as an internal auditor (ISO).
