ABOUT THE POSITION

At Kura Omsorg, we are currently looking for personal assistants who want to strengthen our existing team as a casual/temporary staff member. Working hours are typically 09:00 - 21:00, but Fridays from 07:00 - 09:00 may also occur. Start date is by agreement, but we would prefer if you could start training immediately.

ABOUT THE CLIENT

Our client is a man in his 70s, living in Huddinge. The client is wheelchair-bound and leads an active daily life. Your tasks will vary but will include providing support in everyday life, such as meal preparation, accompanying him to physiotherapy, transfers, shopping, as well as practical help and assistance at home. The home is equipped with lifting equipment to assist with transfers.

We are looking for someone who is self-assured, secure, and cheerful. It is important to be attentive and put the client first. Previous experience in the profession is viewed positively but is not a requirement to apply. REQUIREMENTS

• Fluent Swedish in speech and writing

BENEFICIAL QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience working in healthcare and social care, or equivalent

• Education in healthcare and social care, e.g., assistant nurse, care aide, or equivalent

Employment level: Casual/Temporary

Salary: We apply individual salary setting. Other benefits in accordance with collective agreements.

To be employed by us at Kura Omsorg, you must have a BankID and agree to use your BankID in the role. A prerequisite for starting employment with us is that you, as an applicant, can present a valid ID document and submit a certificate of personal registration (personbevis) as well as any documents proving your right to work in Sweden. You can easily download the certificate of personal registration from the Swedish Tax Agency's website. Due to the fact that the role may involve solo work, night work, and tasks that according to the Swedish Work Environment Authority's regulations (AFS 2012:3) cannot be performed by minors, you must be at least 18 years old to work as a personal assistant.

If you are to work with children and young people under 18, you are required to present a certificate of no criminal record. From March 1, 2026, new regulations will apply meaning that the register check will include both a certificate of no criminal record and a certificate of suspicion. The certificate is ordered via the Police Authority's e-service. Note that processing times may vary, so it is advisable to order well in advance.
