About Us

Trosa Health Centre is the only health centre in Trosa Municipality and is celebrating its 50th anniversary this year. All professional categories, approximately 60 staff members, are well represented in serving our approximately 14,000 registered patients. We have a unit for specialized home care within our organization, and the nearest hospital is located in Nyköping, 4.5 miles from Trosa. We operate a nurse practitioner clinic in Vagnhärad every week. We are responsible for primary care together with the municipality's home healthcare services.

Your Responsibilities

Nursing care, treatment, information, and counseling based on the patient's care needs. Specifically, we need more resources for work with COPD patients at the moment. Patient contacts are made via phone, chat, and physical visits.

Medication administration, medical record documentation in Cosmic, contact with relatives, coordination with other actors such as the municipality's home healthcare services, etc. Leadership duties on certain occasions and mentoring new staff and students. This takes place on weekdays during daytime, excluding holidays. Primary care on-call duties are included with occasional shifts per year during weekends and daytime.

Your Qualifications

Registered Nurse (RN), preferably with further education as a Nurse Practitioner. Experience from previous work at a health centre and competence/knowledge regarding work with COPD patients are meritorious. You must have a driver's license as we occasionally make home visits.

You need to have good teamwork skills as you will be part of a team. Good knowledge of the Swedish language is required.

Employment Type

Permanent position, 100%. Start date according to agreement.
