About Us

The BUP clinic in Eskilstuna is seeking 2 PTP (Psychologist Trainee Program) psychologists to join our tightly knit team. Our goal is to always provide high-quality psychiatric specialist care to the children and adolescents of Södermanland. We aim to offer a wide range of treatment methods and let current research guide our work.

External supervision is offered based on the theoretical orientation of the treatment work and for psychological assessment work.

As a new employee, we are keen to ensure that your introduction makes you feel confident in working independently. You will gradually be phased into independent work at your own pace, with colleagues close by. As a PTP psychologist, you are part of the region's PTP program, along with other PTP psychologists.

Your Responsibilities

Psychological treatment and assessment work at a specialist level, focusing on moderate to severe child psychiatric issues involving children, adolescents, and families. The work is done in close collaboration with social workers, doctors, nurses, and occupational therapists. The role involves cooperation with various healthcare partners, primarily habilitation services, schools, and social services.

Your Qualifications

We are looking for you who are applying for a PTP position and have an interest in working with children and young people. Experience in treatment and assessment work with children, adolescents, and their families is an advantage. We place great emphasis on personal qualities.
