About Us

The Habilitation Service is a specialist resource within Region Sörmland, based on specific knowledge of permanent disabilities and their consequences in daily life. The Habilitation Service complements other healthcare services. Our mission involves investigating and providing habilitation interventions for children, young people, and adults with permanent disabilities such as mobility impairments, multiple disabilities, traumatic brain injuries, intellectual disabilities, and autism spectrum disorders. We work in multidisciplinary teams divided into child and youth teams, as well as adult teams. We work from a behavioral medical perspective based on Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). We meet regularly at county-wide professional meetings to discuss and collaborate on profession-specific issues.

The Habilitation Clinic in Nyköping is located at the Ekensberg Health Center.

Your Responsibilities

We offer flexible and diverse work with stimulating and varied tasks. Employment with us provides excellent opportunities for personal development. We provide interventions individually and in groups. The tasks include assessment, intervention, and follow-up within ADL (Activities of Daily Living), motor skills, and cognition. Training, advice, and support for patients, relatives, and networks. Fitting and follow-up of assistive devices. Writing certificates regarding housing adaptations and ADL. Visits take place at the clinic and in the patient's everyday environment. Together with the rest of the team, plan and implement habilitation interventions in collaboration with the network.

Your Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a licensed Occupational Therapist. Experience in teamwork is advantageous, and knowledge/experience of our target groups is particularly advantageous. Ability to work in a group as well as the ability to work independently is required. A Category B driver's license is a requirement. Great importance is placed on personal qualities.

Employment Type

Temporary position (substitute) with start date by agreement.
