We are a health centre with approximately 50 employees and about 12,000 registered patients, as well as around 1,000 registered children at the Child Health Centre (BVC). Here, we work in a cross-professional manner and offer, among other things, doctor's clinics, nurse's clinics, clinics for asthma/COPD, diabetes, and elderly care, as well as physiotherapy and psychosocial activities. We are also a training health centre for specialty trainee doctors (ST-läkare).

Sjöbo Health Centre is surrounded by beautiful natural areas and has a good commuting location with proximity to, among other places, Ystad, Lund, and Malmö.

RESPONSIBILITIES

As a Medical Secretary with us, you will have a varied role where you combine usual tasks for a medical secretary with administrative duties and support for management. The work includes, among other things, medical record writing, handling referrals, booking patients, reception work, and other medical administration.

An important part of the assignment is to provide administrative support to the operations and unit manager. The role includes, among other things, HR-related administration, ordering, and other administrative tasks that contribute to the smooth daily operation of the business.

You will also staff the reception and become one of the health centre's first points of contact for patients, relatives, and visitors. The role involves many contact surfaces and close collaboration with all professional groups at the health centre. QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for you who have a approved education in healthcare administration (80 points KY or 400 points YH), or equivalent medical secretary education. You have good knowledge of medical terminology and very good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written. Furthermore, you have good computer skills and an interest in IT, digital working methods, and development. It is an advantage if you have education in disease classification and experience in scheduling.

You thrive in a role with many contact surfaces and find it easy to collaborate with both patients and colleagues. Furthermore, you work in a structured manner, take own responsibility, and have good ability to plan and prioritize when the workday varies.
