Sävsjö Municipality is a small community with great opportunities for growth. In this small municipality, people are close-knit – between you and your colleagues, and between employees and managers. 1 position(s).
RESPONSIBILITIES
You will primarily work with support for individuals aged 18 and older who have issues related to harmful substance use and addiction, as well as individuals with mental disabilities. The unit also includes work with perpetrators of violence and the social services' part in the work with disengagement programs.
We believe that social change work must be conducted together with the individual to achieve a positive change in their life situation and good conditions for the future. Collaboration and cooperation with other important partners and actors, both within and outside the organization, is a prerequisite for sustainable planning.
We base our approach on MI (Motivational Interviewing). ASI (Addiction Severity Index) and IBIC (Individual Needs in Focus) are the starting points in the investigative work. If you do not have knowledge in these methods, you will receive training.
You will process applications from individuals with mental health issues, as well as co-occurring disorders, harmful use, and addiction. You will also follow up on interventions and make assessments regarding changes in planning.
You will work with public authority duties according to current legislation.
QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for you who have a degree in social work or another equivalent education including at least 15 higher education credits in social law, preferably with experience in public authority duties.
As a person, we want you to show engagement and interest in the target groups and have a structured and independent work style in dialogue with managers and colleagues. You should be responsible, empathetic, and secure. You have good skills in planning and organizing your work, and can be flexible and contribute to a good work climate.
You have good skills in conducting conversations and documenting in a legally secure manner. You respect the individuals you meet, with clarity and the ability to set boundaries. The work requires that you value people equally, see opportunities, and can convey this in your professional practice in a respectful way.
We value good treatment and that you find it easy to collaborate. We are a small group that relies on each other's flexibility and ability to handle changes that may occur during the workday.
